Volunteer request

Fellow RoboRebels,

I have a very important request for volunteering request. We have a chance to go to Visitation Academy on Friday, May 25th from 9 – 11 to recruit new (girl) members for our robotics team. If you are interested in meeting new people and getting talking about FIRST please let me know. We need about 5 students. Thank you!

Thank you

And, so ends a season with ups and downs; however, I believe that we have learned a lot and grown as a team.

I want to thank each and every member, mentor and parent who’s affiliated with this team. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

To a new beginning. Cheers.

Team meeting and …

Team,

I hope you all had a great spring break (still having? ;-) . If you are available, I’d like to hold a team meeting this Saturday at 10am to discuss our plans for our robot for the Championship. Please come if you can.

Also, I’d like to reiterate that if you are available we are still having our standard schedule for the software team. If you are on the mechanical team you may still come in and work on any other responsibilities that you have for the Championship.

We will not be holding meetings on Sunday.

Also, please bring in any safety glasses that you have mistakenly taken home as we are dangerously low. Also, we are missing our green first aid kit. If you know where it is, please, let me know. Thanks again.

Bagged and tagged

Thank you RoboRebels!!!!

Wow, what a marathon! I just want to thank each and every member of this wonderful robotics team for all of the blood, sweat and time that you have put into making one of the most sophisticated, well designed robotcs that we’ve ever had. We’ve certainly got a fine robot to bring to the championship. Although our primary robot has been completed, we still need to complete the testing robot, so our standard build schedule is still in place so that we can finish the robot, test and practice.

Thanks again for your efforts!

NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH, INTERACT OR TAMPER WITH THE COMPLETED ROBOT!

Final countdown!

Team,

Since it’s the final week before we “bag” our robot we need to put an extra amount of effort into finishing it. So, I’m opening up the robotics room Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5 – 7, Friday from 5 – 9, Saturday 10 – 6, Sunday 12 – 6, and Monday 10 – 1, 4 – ? (I have a class that I need to attend on Monday from 1 – 4). If school ends up closing this week robotics club will also be canceled.

Also, I am implementing a purchase freeze as of today, so I will not be accepting any receipts made before today.

Also, some of you might not have heard, but we were placed on the Championship waiting list when registration was first available. However, over the weekend we received confirmation of our championship participation and I’ve sent over the payment details. So, we are officially going to the Championship.

Put on your game face!

1/20 Session

Please, use caution when making the trek to Priory today and if you feel that the conditions on the roads are too dangerous err on the side of caution and do not attend tonights build session.
